Muralismo Morte - The Rebirth of Muralism in Contemporary Urban Art presents a new form of facade painting, which rises from the shadows of the urban environment. Even though this form of art was 'always' present, it has received in recent years more and more momentum and now also takes new shape - not at least through the participation of many artists with graffiti background.
Muralismo Morte shows in addition to some costly planned and executed productions that originated at the request of homeowners, including murals that were illegally/ legally matter placed in locations that are doomed to decay. Such images often have a clearer mind and be spontaneously realized - sometimes without design. However, the results are no less interesting and show how diverse this scene has become.
Well done is the layout of Muralismo Morte, which underlines the class photos. Although images predominate, of course, there is an additional text that explains including various approaches and perspectives of the artists.
Works by Diego Rivera, San, Escif, Blu, Os Gemeos or Zonenkinder should not be missing here, of course. A successful work of Jens Besser, who himself worked as a muralist.
